“In this show I wish to present my newer pieces, but also include old ones so that the development of my style can be seen.
I also like to explore the tension between law and natural chaos in my works, most especially that existing between the city and natural forces.
My pieces are all mixed-media paintings and I like to work with fluorescent or irisdescent acrylics and wax-based paints alongside broken glass fragments and metal foil – often with several superimposed layers. I even use certain kinds of rubbish because even with these itis possible to crerate something that may resemble something precious.
In this exhibition there will be both larger canvas works on view alongside smaller compositions on paper.
