A világ egyik legviccesebb zenekara, a finn ELAKELAISET végre Magyarországon!
1. A világ egyes számú humppa zenekara viccnek indult egy komoly rock zenekar mellett 1993-ban. A főbandát, a Kumikamelit a kutya se ismeri Finnországon kívül, és ott is csak a kotorék ebek, pedig nagyon jó. Annyira, hogy az ELAKELAISET alakulásával egy időben írt lemezüket kiadójuk évekig nem adta ki, mert „túl pszichedelikus, túl avantgarde.” Az ELAKELAISET váratlan sikere után viszont lehetett úgy hirdetni, hogy a híres ELAKELAISET tagjainak másik bandája.
2. A humppa finn tánczenei stílus. Jellemző rá a gyors ütem. Párja a jenkka, ami valamivel lassabb.
3. Az ELAKELAISET világhírnevét metál, rock, pop, punk, techno és diszkó slágerek sajátos feldolgozásának köszönheti. ABBA-tól Zappa-ig: Clash, Cure, Bob Marley, Depeche Mode, Donna Summer, Joy Division, Kraftwerk, Ministry, Metallica, Motörhead, Nirvana, Oasis, Pet Shop Boys, Police, Ramones, Stevie Wonder, Suzanne Vega, Tom Waits és teleírhatnám az oldalt. Persze saját szerzeményeik is vannak. Aki dalaikat hallgatva néha nem röhögi el magát, az süket, aki koncertjeiken nem perdül táncra, az béna.
4. Az ELAKELAISET összehozza az embereket. Egyformán népszerűek a keményebb és a könnyedebb zenéket kedvelők körében. A legnagyobb metál fesztiválok rendszeres fellépői, ugyanakkor indulnak az Euroviziós dalfesztiválon.
5. Fő hangszerek: dob, basszus, tangóharmonika, olcsó szintik, kalapács.
6. Turnéikon menet közben itt-ott elásnak egy-egy üveg piát. A helyről térképvázlat készül.
7. ELAKELAISET = Nyugdíjasok.

ELAKELAISET is one of the funniest bands of the World.
1. It started as a joke, as a side project of a serious rock band Kumikameli in 1993. Kumikameli is completely unknown outside of Finnland, but it’s good so much that their record company refused to publish their album in 1993 saying it is too psychedelic and avantgardistic. It was released some years later after unexpected success of ELAKELAISET.
2. Humppa is a type of dance music in Finland. It is related to jazz and very fast foxtrot, played two beats to a bar (2/4 or 2/2). Typical speed is about 220 to 260 beats per minute. Jenkka is similar to this, but the beats are only about 140 per minute.
3. ELAKELAISET has got fame with their peculiar covers of rock, pop, punk, techno, disco and metal hits. From Abba to Zappa: Clash, Cure, Bob Marley, Depeche Mode, Donna Summer, Joy Division, Kraftwerk, Ministry, Metallica, Motörhead, Nirvana, Oasis, Pet Shop Boys, Police, Ramones, Stevie Wonder, Suzanne Vega, Tom Waits and more, more and more. Of course they have own songs too. Who don’t laugh at their songs it’s deaf. Who don’t dance during their show it’s a cripple.
4. They are same popular among the poppers and rockers. ELAKELAISET is usual performer of the biggest metal festivals, on the other hand they were one of the nominees to represent Finland in Eurovision Song Contest in 2010.
5. Main instruments are: drums, bass, piano accordion, cheap synthesizers, hammer.
6. Their peculiar habit to bury some bottles of spirits by the side of the road during the tour. Sketch maps show the exact places.
7. ELAKELAISET = Pensioners.
