Milyen módon határoznak meg minket hibáink? Hogyan fordíthatjuk kreatív munkánk előnyére saját hibáinkat?
Samuel Stoll és Noëlle-Anne Darbellay a kortárs zenei műfaj extrém fenegyerekei, kedvelik a különleges helyszíneket, legtöbbször fizikai vagy színházi performansz is szerepel a műsorukon. Ezúttal fiatal, feltörekvő zeneszerzőket kértek fel, hogy új műveket írjanak a projekt számára.

THE MISTAKE I AM

Based on the work „Ik ben een fout“ (I am a mistake) by Belgian artist and choreographer Jan Fabre, we are searching for the meaning of mistake, in today’s society and for the individual artist. In what way does making mistakes define the individual and how does it impose a certain reception upon the latter? Is it part of the artistic process and from which point does this development start?
A couple of young and upcoming composers, namely Stefan Wirth (CH), Aleksander Gabrys (PL), Stephen Crowe (GB), Benedikt Hayoz (CH), and Georgy Dorokhov (RUS), where asked by us to compose new experimental, music theatral, performative, and/or installative pieces for our duo’s work in progress presentation THE MISTAKE I AM. In collaboration with fine artists Francisco Sierra and Camillo Paravicini, we will set up interventions serving as connecting and expanding elements within the programme. An evening-length and non-interruptive show will stand as a result, consisting of both new compositions and pieces from our repertoire, all originally written for our duo.
