Tárgyátalakító design pályázat és aukció 2014
Helyszín: MÜSZI – Művészeti Szint | 1085 Budapest Blaha Lujza tér 1.
(A bejárat a Somogyi Béla utca felől található.)
A programsorozat három részből áll:
1. Válaszd ki!
szeptember 12. – az átalakítandó tárgyak begyűjtése
szeptember 13. – tárgyválogatás, inspirációs vetítés, pályázók kiválasztják a szívüknek kedves tárgyakat
2. Alakítsd át!
szeptember 13-tól október 8-ig átalakítás, a pályázók saját műhelyükben dolgoznak, az egyhónapos műhelymunka során megtörténik a varázslat, a régi tárgyak új életre kelnek.
3. Vegyél jó tárgyakat az aukciónkon!
október 10., 10:00–18:00 óra – kiállítás.
19:00 óra – aukció show az átalakított tárgyakból Szentpétery Márton designkritikus, eszmetörténész vezetésével. A bevétellel a tárgyak alkotóit és a MÜSZI-t támogatod.
2014 szeptember-októberében harmadik alkalommal kerül megrendezésre a Corvin áruház harmadik emeletén a MÜSZI upcycling project-je, melynek záróeseménye és egyben csúcspontja – az átalakított tárgyak aukciója – az idei Design Hét programjába is beilleszkedik.
Egyhónapos programsorozatunk elsősorban olyan kreatív embereknek szól, akik örömüket lelik a régi tárgyakban, szeretik, ha egy tárgynak története van, és meg is tudják érteni azt. Olyan barkácsolni szerető, professzionális és amatőr alkotókat várunk erre az alkalomra, akik vállalják, hogy egy hónap alatt új lakberendezési vagy belsőépítészeti felhasználásra alkalmas tárgyat hoznak létre az általuk kiválasztott és számukra kedves kacatból.
Igény szerint szakmai konzultációt is biztosítunk a pályázók számára.
Az egy hónap alatt zajló műhelymunkáról a MÜSZI facebook-oldalán folyamatosan tudósítunk.
Mindehhez szeptember 12-ig várjuk a tárgyfelajánlásokat, mindenféle jópofa tárgy jöhet, ami nem nagyobb, mint 1 m³, és látunk benne fantáziát.
Október 10-én az aukciónkra szeretettel várjuk a lakásukat, hoteljüket, szórakozóhelyüket egyedivé tenni vágyó embereket, otthonteremtőket, vagy azokat a lakberendezőket, akik nem elégszenek meg a tömegtermékekkel, hanem néhány egyedi kiegészítővel szeretnék megfűszerezni az általuk teremtett tereket.
Azok a tárgyak, amelyek az aukción nem kelnek el, később a „Vidd haza a MÜSZI-t!” program keretén belül kerülnek további értékesítésre.

TRANSFORMERS
Call for application for object transformation design and auction 2014

The program series consists of three parts:
1. Choose it!
September 12 – collecting the object to be transformed.
September 13 – choosing the objects, inspirational screening. The applicants choose the objects dear to their hearts.
2. Transform it!
September 13—October 8 – transforming the objects, the applicants work in their workshops; in the one-month course of work in the workshops the miracle happens: the old objects get a new life.
3. Buy nice objects at our auction!
October 10, 10:00h—18:00h – exhibition
19:00h – auction show of the transformed objects presented by design critic and historian of ideas Márton Szentpétery. You support both the creators of the objects and MÜSZI with the auction’s income.
In September–October, 2014, MÜSZI’s upcycling project takes place for the third time on the third floor of Corvin Department Store. The closing event and at the same time the summit of the project, that is the auction of the transformed objects, will also be part of the program of Budapest Design Week 2014.
Our one-month program series is primarily for creative people who take delight in old objects and like it if an object has its own story and can also understand it. We expect professional and amateur creators for this event who like to do it themselves and who undertake to create within one month new objects suitable for home furnishing or interior decoration from the old objects of their choice dear to them.
We provide professional consultation for the applicants on demand.
We will continuously report on the one-month work done in the workshops on MÜSZI’s Facebook page.
We expect offerings of objects till September 12. We welcome all kinds of fun objects in which we see potential and are not bigger than 1 m3.
On October 10 we welcome at our auction those people who want to make their apartments, hotels, places of entertainment unique, or those home-creators or interior decorators who are not satisfied with mass products but also would like to spice up the spaces they created with some unique accessories.
The objects that are not sold at the auction will be sold later within the frames of ‘Take MÜSZI home!’ program.
